Time Warner Cable


I had 2 accounts with #Time Warner Cable. One in NYC and one in LA.
Collectively a month I pay about $350 to TWC.
My bills are always paid in full and on time. In fact, I have been a customer now for about 10 years.
I really enjoyed my TWC.
Yesterday (12/21/12-5:30pm) changed all of that.
A tech came to our apartment building to disconnect a neighbor's service who just moved out. Instead they cut my line. I am such a loyal #Time Warner customer that I had the Triple Play. When I say he cut my line. He actually cut my life lines. I now have no phone , no cable, and zero Internet! (I am actually blogging from my iPhone w/4g now)
I called customer service around  6pm after finally figuring out I was completely un-plugged. I gave the Customer Service operator the code which was flashing on my screen.
He hoped it was an area issue because no singles were connecting. He said Sunday would be the earliest.
I obliged and went downstairs to my manager of  our apartment building to share my frustration. That's when he informed me their was a #Time Warner tech person on-site to cut our vacating neighbor's service . After further investigation  of the lines we reliazied they cut our unit's service while the neighbor who moved out still was active.
I called #TWC back to inform them what we discovered. The tech told me he would get someone to me by Saturday since it was their mistake. He said he would authorize an independent contractor to do the work.  He said the arrival window would be all day but I should call back to get a more specific time.
When I phoned now the 3rd time a supervisor informed me that now they cannot make it Saturday but I have to wait until Sunday now.
It's the #Christmas Holiday weekend and we have no Internet /phone or cable because of their mistake and on top if it they cannot fix it for another 48 hours?
This is just pure Lazy! Their customer service has driven me off the cliff ! I called  #Direct TV amazingly someone picked up after 4 rings (no crazy menu options) Brian was able to get me  an installation appointment next day. Wow!!! It's is 180 difference in service. Instead of waiting 48 hours for #Time Warner Cable to come and fix their mistake I am closing my account with them and will be waiting on my New Direct TV today! Less than 24 hours after calling #DirectTV I will have the services I need to survive this #Holiday Weekend!
